"Professional Concierge and Porter Service is a Family-Operated Business, founded by local Havre de Grace Residents Steve Gamatoria and his nephew Chuck Gamatoria III. When developing the business model, it was no surprise that Steve and Chuck III used the very same Family Values (Reliability, Ingerity and Trust) that have long been associated with the Gamatoria Family name. ANY Havre de Gracian, can attest that Reliability, Integrity and Trust are the core Values which are synonomous with the Gamatoria name.
Professional Concierge and Porter Service is built on a very firm Family foundation -Trust, Integrity, Relationship Building, Commitment, Reliability and Value. Having lived in a small community my entire life, where everyone literally knows each other- I have enjoyed developing relationships that were established over several generations. My grandparents immigrated here from Italy in the early 1900s. Respect, commitment to your word and a strong work ethic is something that I was taught and have always felt strongly about. As the recent expansion of the City of Havre de Grace takes place, we look forward to nurturing our longstanding relationships with old friends and developing new [longstanding] relationships with our new neighbors." - Steve Gamatoria and Chuck Gamatoria III
Steve Gamatoria is a Second Generation resident of Havre de Grace. Having graduated from Havre de Grace High School and Harford Community College- Steve, his wife Pattie, son Steve Jr. (a student at WVU) and his Dad "Charlie" make their home at the confluence of the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay- next to the famous "Concord Point Lighthouse." Employed by the same Company -Cytec Industries- for nearly 28 years, and actively involved in his community- Steve understands the importanace of building long and trusting relationships. His community involvement - (1.) A former Soccer Coach for Parks and Rec, Baseball Coach Little League and Havre de Grace High School Mens Varsity Soccer Coach (2.) A former Board Member of the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum (3.) An active Member for more than 28 years in the Susquehanna Hose Company, Inc. where he has held the position o Assistant Fire Chief and currently serves on the Departments Board of Directors as Vice President, and (4.) As an Active Board Member of the "Community Projects of Havre de Grace, Inc." - a non-profit organiazation that promotes and raises funds for the Havre de Grace Community. Steve takes great pride in the fact that he has the opportunity to meet and touch so many people. Through his Family, (everyone in town knows his Dad- "Charlie"); the Fire Service or other Community related activities- Steve has witnessed through his friends and collegues, the great need for a professional and reliable service to help manage and improve lives. Chuck Gamatoria III, is a Third Generation resident of Havre de Grace and Steve's nephew. Chuck III also graduated from Havre de Grace High School and resides in Havre de Grace with his wife Mary. Chuck III has had a thirst [for sometime] to start a business where he could make a positive impact on people's lives. This is his Business (says Steve) He isn't afraid of hard physical work and he is one of the most commited and reliable young men you will ever meet. He is a "people person." That is why I agreed to partner with him. His perseverence and integrity will make this business thrive and it will stand on its own merit. Anytime you mix integrity and commitment, while providing value and reliability - the outcome will be "customer satisfaction and valued long term relationships"
